  • I offer online sessions via Zoom. This allows you to have the session from the comfort of your own home, saving time and offering more flexibility.

  • Change can sometimes happen quickly, but it’s important to remember that real, lasting change often takes time and I tell every client that “most therapy happens in between sessions”. Which means that the work we do together creates a deep shift that you can nurture. Some clients notice a shift after one or two sessions, but most see changes after several sessions over a few weeks or months.

  • You will receive your custom self hypnosis loop after the first intervention session. The loop will be built to your own model of the world, it will use your language, thoughts and model of the world to create the best conditions for changing your unconscious.

  • There are several ways to support your therapy journey. These include practicing the techniques you learn during sessions, regularly listening to your personalised self-hypnosis audio, maintaining a balanced lifestyle, and engaging in self-care activities.

  • Yes, sometimes I may suggest exercises or tasks to complete between our sessions. These will be tailored to your specific needs and goals, and are designed to reinforce the progress you make during our sessions.

  • If you find a particular technique challenging or uncomfortable, it's important to communicate this during our session. We can then explore alternatives or adjust the approach to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident in your therapy journey.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know as soon between sessions? - In case of an emergency or crisis, it's important to reach out to the appropriate services in your area, such as a crisis hotline, your doctor, or local emergency services. While cognitive hypnotherapy can provide substantial support, it's not designed for crisis intervention. If you need support between our regular sessions, please get in touch and we can discuss the best course of action.

  • Just like in-person sessions, online sessions follow the same process. After you book an appointment, I will send you a secure link to connect through Zoom. During the session, we'll discuss your issues and goals, and use cognitive hypnotherapy techniques just like we would in-person.

  • You will need a device with a camera and microphone, such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, as well as a stable internet connection. We use Zoom for our sessions, which is free and easy to use.

  • I adhere to the same strict confidentiality policies in online sessions as I do in-person. All video calls are conducted through a secure, encrypted platform to ensure privacy.

  • Absolutely! I understand that circumstances can change, and I aim to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs.

  • If we encounter technical issues, we will try to resolve them quickly and continue the session. If we cannot, we'll reschedule for a more convenient time.

  • Yes, cognitive hypnotherapy is completely safe. It's a natural and healthy process that involves a highly focused state of attention. You're always in control during the sessions.

  • Most people can be hypnotized to some degree, but individuals vary in their level of suggestibility. A willingness to be hypnotized and a level of trust in the therapist are crucial factors.

  • Yes, you will remain conscious throughout the session and should be able to recall everything that happens. Hypnosis is not about losing control or being unconscious, it's a state of focused attention and relaxation.

  • Progress is monitored through regular check-ins and outcome measures and also discussion during each session. Feedback and reflections from clients are crucial elements of this process and recognising positive changes small and large will healp to build new patterns

  • Yes, if you need to cancel a session, I ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice. If you cancel within this timeframe, there is no charge. For cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee may apply.

  • Yes, I offer packages for multiple sessions, which can provide a cost-saving compared to booking individual sessions. More details can be found on the 'Services & Fees' page on the website.

  • I strive to make therapy accessible to as many people as possible. Therefore, I do offer a concessionary rate for students, seniors, and those on low income. Please get in touch to discuss these options.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or PayPal.

  • While therapy can make a great gift, it's important to remember that the recipient should be willing and ready to undertake therapy. If this is the case, please get in touch, and we can discuss the best way to proceed.

  • I follow the professional standards and ethical guidelines outlined by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), and the Quest Institute, including maintaining confidentiality, respecting client autonomy, and practicing Data competence in line with GDPR and the ICO.
